Beijing has registered 34 new generative AI services, with notable entries such as Xiaomi's AI search and Monica.

The Shanghai Municipal Cyberspace Administration announced the latest registration notice for generative AI services, aimed at further promoting the innovative development and standardized application of generative AI in the city. According to the requirements of the 'Interim Measures for the Management of Generative AI Services', Shanghai has orderly carried out the filing work for generative AI services and registered services that call the registered model capabilities through API or other methods. As of now, Shanghai has added 9 newly registered generative AI services, bringing the total number of registered services to 63.

The Shanghai Cyberspace Administration recently announced that 11 generative AI services have passed inspection and completed registration, bringing the total number of registered services to 20. This initiative aims to promote the healthy development and standard application of generative AI, implementing relevant interim management measures. The announcement emphasizes that services that directly call registered model capabilities through APIs or other means, especially those with public opinion attributes or social mobilization capabilities, must undergo registration. Existing generative AI applications or features must prominently display their registration number either in a notable position or on their product detail pages. This measure aims to ensure the safe use of the public.

The court ruled that the company infringed the plaintiff's rights to reproduction and adaptation of the Ultraman character in question, ordering it to cease infringement and compensate the plaintiff 10,000 yuan.

The OCI Generative AI service is a fully managed service, now featuring multilingual capabilities supporting over 100 languages. South Korea's largest search engine Naver has launched a generative AI service named HyperCLOVAX. HyperCLOVAX offers generative AI-driven search functionality. Naver plans to begin public testing of HyperCLOVAX on August 24.
